The Importance of a BMW Routine

Maintaining your car is a lot like maintaining your personal health. Just like you, your vehicle needs regular care to perform properly. 

Each of you car’s systems is made up of multiple parts and fluids, and as we all know, all parts and fluids eventually break down and fail. Thus, it is critical to service them regularly. This can ranges from replacing parts with wear & tare like tires and filters to flushing the fluids at predetermined mileage intervals.  Following a recommended routinely schedule maximizes the health of your vehicle and minimizes the need for repair.

How do I know when my car needs an oil change?

Its recommended changing your oil every 15,000 miles. If your engine seems to be louder than normal when driving or when you start up, the oil may be too old and need to be changed. Another easy way to tell if your car is in need of an oil change is if you are experiencing “sputtering performance”.

How do I check service history?

With their newer technology go to iDrive digital display, the maintenance history can be found under the Vehicle Information > Vehicle Status menu. Older models should have a guidebook stored in the glove compartment.

They fixed all the issues that the 2013 BMW X3 that I brought that the previous owner didn't disclose. Running great and don't have to worry about the oil change for one year.
